The adventures of Laurie & Sonja:

On her way to work, a T&C employee rescues a small dog that was in the middle of a busy street on a dark rainy morning. Clearly the dog was lost and frightened. She brought the dog to work. Another employee looked online with the Clackamas County Dog Services where she noticed a lost dog posting that matched the dogs description. However, the dog was missing from about 23 miles away. She called the owner and they were reunited later that day. A happy ending for both dog and owner.
